Come join us for this fun, unique and amazing opportunity up on the mountain with a view to glaze a raku bowl and watch it go through the firing process all in about 2 hours! Yes, you get to take it home with you the same day!

Bring your friends, family, co-workers, and neighbors! No experience necessary, you will be able to use tape and stickers to help you create beautiful patterns and images.  We will also have local plant retailers there to help you pick and purchase a perfect plant for your bowl if you choose.

​Raku pottery is NOT FOOD SAFE and is NOT WATERTIGHT. Consider it like terra cotta. They are great for planting plants, or for holding things such as desk supplies, candles, wrapped candies, etc. or simply just for decoration.

  • All ages welcome
  • No experience neccesary.  If you can hold a paintbrush you can glaze pottery!
  • Allow up to 2 hours for this event
  • Rain or shine
  • Great for an outing with friends, family, co-workers, special groups and neighbors
  • No refunds 2 weeks before your firing.  If you can't make it you can gift your ticket to a friend or try to find a replacement.  Just tell them to give us your name when registering.
  • No outside food or drinks can be brought to the brewery.  Beverages and food are available for sale there.
  • We will again have additional handmade spring pieces that will be available to purchase and glaze at the firings!  There are limited WALK-IN spaces in our 3rd kiln each hour for these items so they will be first come first serve.  These additional items will become available for purchase 15 minutes prior to every hour.  You will NOT be able to preregister for these items.  Stay tuned on my Facebook page for more details and photos.
  • We will also have local plant retailers there to help you pick and purchase a perfect plant for your bowl if you choose.
